It is interesting to notice that Plato’s greatest Idea (the male-female hybrids) does not arise from the mouth of Plato himself. (see Symposion). So perhaps there is a Socrates-Plato hybrid in which they are together mastering virtue and dancing in harmonious fashion towards endless nights of imaginal Antartica.
In other words while the Phaedo effectively solves philosophy its knowledge is perpetually lost through culture.
