    I hope this is a good day.

    In Arabic you have the phrase ‘afwan – which can be used to respond to شكراً (shukran – “thanks”). ‘Afwan can also be used to apologise. If you bump into someone you can say ‘afwan.

    So correct me if I am wrong but this phrase seems to be similar to Italian prego. Which I have heard is a very versatile word

    In turkish “lütfen” is used as please, I think in the same vein that prego is used (e.g. in restaurants).
