Essay that I wrote for the Political Theory from the Global South course at Leiden University ’23-’24. Supervised by Dr P.M. Mosima who suggested the new title (Ubuntu and the Metz-Ramose Debate). Dr Mosima is as of recently (’26 term 2) now also affiliated with Leiden University as a professor for the World Philosophies: Africa at the Global and Comparative studies of philosophy.
